Yesterday it was seventy degrees. Today an icy drizzle covered the land and our horses. When I brought Cricket in to get her ready for riding,

I raced out to the car to grab my camera before it melted.

To absorb some of the water, I draped her like a prize fighter.

When we finished, I put her in her new cooler to keep her warm as her sweat dried. Cinnamon chose the fleece and had it custom made.

Cricket felt a little silly, but her mom is the boss of her – even if she does dress her funny!
